Project Gigaton™, which targets cutting the retailers’ greenhouse gas emissions one billion metric tons by 2030. Partnering with Walmart and key converter partners, CNG is transitioning Walmart’s private label products to recycle-ready formats in an effort to reduce the amount of greenhouse emissions associated with Walmart-branded products. This includes updating Pure Balance Pet Food packaging to CNG’s GreenArrow™ MDO film laminated to a polyethylene sealant — set to appear on shelves in March 2025. Partnering with leading brands like Walmart allows CNG to engage in impactful projects aimed at enhancing flexible packaging’s end-of-life, aligning with sustainability goals.
